BITEWING RADIOGRAPHS

Bitewing radiographs are indicated primarily to detect or monitor hidden caries in the interdental tooth surfaces. Very useful for a dentist, as the proximal surfaces of the teeth cannot be visually examined or clinically accessible with dental explorers.
