Equipped with the most modern & sophisticated digital dental X-ray units, we are able to ensure the quality of dental images, we deliver from our centre. It includes all intraoral and extraoral scanning which requires for the day to day dental practice.

INTRAORALS

Visualise a single tooth and its supporting structures, in a close view, thereby revealing even the minute details. It helps the dentist to diagnose the case and to formulate a treatment plan. This mode of imaging is usually meant for a single tooth when it requires much precised details for the treatment.

EXTRAORALS

These are bigger X-rays which shows the entire dental arch / dentition / both the jaws etc. Gives the clinician an overall information regarding the dental, gingival & bony conditions of the patient. It also helps in the assessment of pathologies & other related abnormalities.

CBCT SCAN
(CONE BEAM COMPUTED TOMOGRAPHY)

Dental cone beam computed tomography (CT) is a special type of X-ray machine used in situations where regular dental or facial X-rays are not sufficient for arriving at an accurate diagnosis or to formulate a surgical treatment plan.

Very helpful radiology tool for a surgeon to plan his surgery. In case, an important anatomical structures like nerve channel is passing nearby, with this view, the surgeon can visualise and measure the accurate distance to any vital structures situated nearby ,and can avoid accidental injury to it during surgery.

Dentists will prescribe a CBCT scan for a number of reasons. Sometimes, to see the 3D image of surgical site prior to surgery or implant placement for the patient’s safety. Sometimes to see the jaw joints, sinuses, course of root canals or its numbers during RCT, if he suspects some unusual anatomy. To see the extend of an existing lesion etc.

Provides 3-D images of dental/bony structures, nerve paths in bone etc. in a more detailed manner than the conventional one or two-dimensional dental X-rays, hence allowing the accurate dignosis and treatment planning.3D scans are usually taken for:
